We are incredibly excited to announce that we are now open for business! We have some hardy tomato and zucchini plant starts ready for your summer garden, and many more plant start varieties will become available over the next few weeks including Amana Orange Tomatoes, Cucumber Lemon Squash, Opal Basil, Buttercrunch Lettuce, Rainbow Chard, Black Beauty Eggplants, and a Perennial Wildflower Mix. We’re providing our starts in degradable nursery bags that you can plant straight into the ground so there’s no plastic waste.
Starting today, we’ll be taking orders online through our website! We do not ship products, so please only place an order if you are able to get to Monte Vista, CO to pick up your plants. (However, depending upon your location and specific circumstances, we might be able to arrange a special delivery if you are truly in need. Contact us to make such a request.) If you would like to have your plants as soon as possible, we will have a table set up this Friday (5/29). However we’d like to offer, free of charge, to nurture your plants for you for one more week before passing them off to you, and will have a table set up again next Thursday or Friday (6/4 or 5) for those who want to wait for their starts to be a bit larger and stronger. When placing your order, in the Special Notes section please indicate whether you would like your plants at the end of this week or at the end of next week and we will stay in touch with you via email to arrange your pick-up date, time, and location.
Pick ups MUST be fully socially-distanced. We will be wearing masks and sanitizing our hands frequently. We will have hand-sanitizer available for you and we ask that you please use it before handling any items on the table. We require that you wear a mask and that you remain at least 6 feet away from ourselves and from other customers while picking up your plants. We thank you greatly for helping to keep us all healthy!
